Flora Landscape Contractors, LLC (“Flora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers SMS text message notifications to clients who have opted in to receive them. These messages are part of how we keep your projects and properties running smoothly.

Program Description

By opting in, you consent to receive transactional SMS text messages from Flora Landscape Contractors related to your project or maintenance services. Messages may include:

  • Crew arrival reminders and pre-visit notifications

  • Schedule changes, weather delays, and reschedule notices

  • Post-visit service summaries and job completion confirmations

  • Notifications when estimates or proposals are ready for your review

  • Notifications when invoices are available

These messages are sent strictly for service, scheduling, and operational purposes — never for marketing or promotional reasons.

Message Frequency

Message frequency depends on your scheduled services and account activity. During active service periods — such as a maintenance route, an active install, or a project punch list — you may receive multiple messages per week.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Flora Landscape Contractors does not charge you for SMS notifications.

Opting Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you opt out, we’ll send one confirmation message and then stop sending you texts. If you ever want to re-enroll, simply reply START or reach out to our office directly.

Our SMS program is available to clients in the United States who have provided a valid mobile phone number and consented to receive messages from Flora.

Privacy Policy — SMS Data

Flora Landscape Contractors, LLC takes the privacy of your personal information seriously, including any data collected as part of our SMS messaging program. This section explains what we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.

Information We Collect

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Flora, we collect:

  • Your name and mobile phone number

  • Records of messages sent to and received from you

  • Your opt-in and opt-out status, along with the dates and times those choices were made

How We Use Your Information

Your mobile number and opt-in data are used solely to send the transactional service messages described in the Terms & Conditions above — such as schedule updates, crew arrival notices, completion confirmations, and estimate or invoice availability. We do not use your mobile information for marketing, promotions, or any unrelated purpose.

Information We Do Not Share

No mobile information — including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent — will be shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Full stop.

The only exception is that information may be shared with subcontractors or service providers acting on our behalf in direct support of our operations (for example, the SMS delivery platform that actually sends the texts on our system’s behalf), and only to the extent needed to deliver messages to you. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your mobile number and consent records for as long as you remain a Flora client, or for as long as we are required to under applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

From time to time we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. Continued use of our SMS service after updates are posted means you accept the revised policy.
